Panhandle Greenway Conservation Project

SUMMARY | Allegheny Land Trust and community partners are working together on the "Panhandle Greenway Conservation Project" - a landscape-scale effort to create an ecological, recreational, and place-making greenway unlike any in the region. Since launching the effort in 2023, we have successfully conserved 293 acres of green space (91 acres in Collier Township and 202 acres in South Fayette Township). THANK YOU to all who supported the first phases of this effort.

CURRENT EFFORT | Expand Settlers Cabin Park: We have 30 acres of green space under contract in Collier Township. Conserving this land would expand Settlers Cabin Park and continue ALT's efforts to proactively conserve green space to create a greenway. Our deadline to raise the necessary funds is Spring 2026, and we'll need your help! Learn more here.

We hope you'll choose to support these projects as they continue our success in creating the Panhandle Greenway. Together, let's conserve close-to-home green space to improve the quality of life for us all.
