Tree Planting at Wingfield Pines

Registration is required so we can communicate in case of any necessary changes.

Join the ALT stewardship team for a morning of riparian habitat restoration. Volunteers will use shovels and pruners to plant native trees and shrubs along Chartiers Creek and by the edges of Wingfield's AMD settling ponds.

Tools and gloves will be provided. Participants should dress appropriately for working outdoors: long sleeves, long pants, and close-toed shoes are required.

This event will take place rain or shine, but we will reschedule in case of thunderstorms. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a reusable water bottle. There are no restrooms on site.
