Ever wondered how to grow your own food without a green thumb? This workshop will focus on reducing food waste by sharing techniques on how to grow food from typically composted or thrown out scraps such as carrots, lettuce, ginger and much more! No garden space? NO problem! Most of what we'll discuss can be done indoors or in very small spaces.

All participants who register for and attend the entire workshop will receive a copy of the book "No Waste Kitchen Gardening" by Katie Elzer-Peters.

No walk ins will be permitted. Best suited for ages 16+.

Upon arrival: Enter through the Cafe doors, and you can either take the stairs on the left or use the elevator. Once you're upstairs, the Activity Room will be directly ahead on your right. You’ll enter the room through the double glass doors.

Generous funding and support for this series was provided by Giant Eagle.
