The Great Rake!

Registration is required so we can communicate in case of any necessary changes.

Shake off the winter doldrums and hit the trails with ALT. Now is the time to rake away last year's fallen leaves and debris to keep the trails safe and solid for another season! We'll be kicking off a month-long effort to clean up all the trails at ALT conservation areas far and wide with this inaugural group effort at Dead Man's Hollow. Join us for a hike with purpose!

Volunteers will work with rakes, pruners, and hand saws to clear the trails of duff and debris. Please work within your comfort and ability.

Tools and gloves will be provided. Participants should dress appropriately for walking in cold, wet, and muddy conditions.

This event will take place rain or shine, but we will cancel in case of thunderstorms or strong wind. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a reusable water bottle. There are no restrooms on site.
