50+ Walking Series with AARP: Birding at Churchill

Join an Allegheny Land Trust Educator on our 50+ Walking Series, sponsored by AARP Pennsylvania. Geared for those ages 50 and up, we will hike ALT’s properties over moderate terrain and distances, taking plenty of breaks to stop and learn about our local flora and fauna. The first hike of 2025 will focus on the birds of Churchill Valley Greenway. What birds now call the re-wild golf course home? Some binoculars will be available, but please bring your own if you have them. Experience the beauty of these local spaces and learn how they contribute towards building a more livable community for people of all ages.

Events run rain or shine. No walk ins will be permitted. Please park and meet in the larger parking lot.
