Sustainability at Home: Foraging the Forest's Foods

Join ALT and Barbora Batakova aka "fungiwoman" for round 4 of our popular series of workshops; The Sustainability at Home Series! These workshops will focus on living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle through at home sustainability practices. This workshop will feature information on commonly foraged plants and mushrooms in our area. Barbora Batakova, the Western PA Mushroom Club President, Author of Hunting Mushrooms and popular social media influencer "fungiwoman" will discuss our locally edible fungi while ALT covers the plants.

All participants will receive $100 worth of related materials for attending, including a copy of Barbora's book Hunting Mushrooms. One set of materials per ticket purchased. Children under 18 do not require a ticket and will not receive the materials. You must be present for the entire workshop to receive the provided materials.

No walk ins will be permitted.
