Join ALT and our friends at Flannel Roots Farm for round 4 of our popular series of workshops; The Sustainability at Home Series! Join Flannel Roots in discovering new ways to preserve and enjoy your foraged and cultivated mushroom finds! In this hands on presentation and workshop we will not only get LEARN about the various ways to preserve mushrooms, whether it be pickling, jerky, candy or more, not only get to TASTE some of these methods, but also MAKE your own mushroom DIY Spice Rub as a bonus take home with marinated dried mushrooms. This workshop should provide a basic introduction to food preservation methods that can not only be applied to mushrooms, but most produce as well ensuring longer lasting nutrition. We look forward to sharing with you some food sustainability for us here at Flannel Roots!

All participants will receive $100 worth of related materials for attending. One set of materials per ticket purchased. Children under 18 do not require a ticket and will not receive the materials. You must be present for the entire workshop to receive the provided materials.

No walk ins will be permitted.
