Join an Allegheny Land Trust Educator on our 50+ Walking Series, sponsored by AARP Pennsylvania. Geared for those ages 50 and up, we will hike ALT’s properties over moderate terrain and distances, taking plenty of breaks to stop and learn about our local flora and fauna. This hike will discuss the history and Abandoned Mine Drainage (AMD) site at Wingfield Pines. We will even do some water testing to show how the system works! Experience the beauty of these local spaces and learn how they contribute towards building a more livable community for people of all ages.
Events run rain or shine. Please drive through the gate and down the driveway to park in the larger parking lot on the property.
