Celebrate Earth Day and the protection of Girty's Woods! Volunteers will plant native grass seed at this brand new conservation area.

Attendees will stop at a table, receive a bag of seeds and instructions, and take off along a marked route through Girty's Woods. The seeding loop crosses steep, muddy, and uneven terrain – please choose appropriate footwear with that in mind. We will provide paper bags full of seeds, but ask that you supply your own gloves for safety.

COVID-19 Safety Protocol:
  • Please stay home and do not attend if you have COVID-19, if you've had recent known COVID-19 exposure, or if you are not feeling well.
