Girty's Woods- Trail Building

Registration is required to participate in this volunteer workday.

Mile by mile, volunteers have been building and maintaining Girty's Woods' network of hiking trails. And we're not done yet! Join ALT for a morning of trail teamwork to continue cutting open the corridor for our final stretch of trail. Volunteers will hike several miles on mixed terrain and use loppers, saws, and rakes.

Long pants and close-toed shoes are required. Long sleeves and a hat are recommended to protect from sun and bugs. Tools and gloves will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear if they prefer. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Water and light snacks will be available. Please bring a full water bottle.

Registrants will receive a follow-up email with more details.
