Tour Our Historic Log House

Tour A Historic Log House with ALT

Erected in the 1700s and permanently protected by Allegheny Land Trust in the 2020s, the Historic Walker Ewing Log House gives visitors a peek inside early American life.

Tour this historic log home with ALT staff and learn about local land conservation efforts that made protecting this cabin and nearby forests possible. In the holiday spirit, we'll also have crafts like a holiday letter-writing station, an ornament-making station, and conservation wares you can buy for your tree-loving loved ones.

Jackworth Ginger Beer will be available for purchase (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available; ID required for those choosing to drink alcohol). Ticket and Ginger Beer sales support our efforts to save local land.

Cozy up in the cabin with us!

Why is this happening? Perhaps you didn't question this at all, but we want to share anyway! Allegheny Land Trust and Jackworth Ginger Beer are 3ROC's current Community Impact Partners - a program where the shop partners with local breweries and environmental or recreation-based nonprofit organizations to host mission-specific and fundraising events to support nonprofit partners. So, between September 2026 and February 2027, every ginger beer you buy at 3ROC supports ALT. Additionally, 3ROC, ALT, and Jackworth will collaborate on one event each month to invite you outdoors to local green spaces.
