Learn About + Help Protect the Hilltop Urban Farm

Hilltop Urban Farm is set to transform the land it currently occupies. Given its size, scope, and reach, it will ultimately become the largest urban farm in the United States and serve as a resource for urban farming initiatives. Sign up to tour the Urban Farm to see what it's all about and how we can permanently protect this community asset for our city's benefit!

Tour and learn about one of the largest urban farms in the nation from the farm team and Allegheny Land Trust.

ALT is raising awareness and funds to permanently protect Hilltop Urban Farm's land so they can continue their impact and investments in providing space to grow food and enjoy the outdoors. Your ticket proceeds support this effort!

Together, we'll walk the farm to learn about where it started, what it has already accomplished, who participates and benefits from the operations, and how we can all support a vibrant, healthy, growing future for HUF. We'll enjoy some Jackworth Ginger Beer as we walk the grounds and mingle on the farm.

Why is this happening? Perhaps you didn't question this at all, but we want to share anyway! Allegheny Land Trust and Jackworth Ginger Beer are 3ROC's current Community Impact Partners - a program where the shop partners with local breweries and environmental or recreation-based nonprofit organizations to host mission-specific and fundraising events to support nonprofit partners. So, between September 2026 and February 2027, every ginger beer you buy at 3ROC supports ALT. Additionally, 3ROC, ALT, and Jackworth will collaborate on one event each month to invite you outdoors to local green spaces.
