The woods are lovely, dark and deep!
Mile by mile, volunteers have been building and maintaining Girty's Woods' network of hiking trails. And we're not done yet! Join the ALT stewardship team for an all Hallows morn to hack and slash through Girty's ghoulish Woods to open up the final stretch of trail.

Today's the day the teddy bears build a trail system!
Registration is required to participate, and volunteers must arrive on time. Long pants and close-toed shoes are required. Long sleeves and a hat are recommended to protect from sun and bugs. Tools and gloves will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear if they prefer. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteers will hike several miles on mixed terrain and use loppers, saws, and rakes to open up a new trail corridor.
Water and light snacks will be available. Please bring a full water bottle and consider packing a picnic to make a day of it!
